Laddies Loppet Day 1 Coverage
September 4, 2010A beautiful fall day for the opening stages of the 2010 Laddies Loppet. Crisp temperatures in the upper 40s greeted riders in the morning time trial. By late afternoon, temperatures had climbed into the upper 60s, making for perfect racing, and spectating, conditions for the short track events. Doug Swanson pulled off the winning moving in the final lap of the mens expert race to collect the victory over a stacked field. Sara Kylander-Johnson pulled away from Jenna Reinhart to take the womens title.
