Chequamegon Fat Tire Coverage
September 18, 2010With wet fall conditions pre-race expectations were for a real mudfest, but the course turn out to be more damp than wet with more rocks that kept speeds down in the 2010 edition of the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival. Deja vu was the theme this year as nearly all of last year's champions repeated. Brian Matter held off Tristan Schouten and Jason Sagar to take the mens title. Jenna Reinhart reeled in Sara Kylander-Johnson, who had held the lead for much of the race, to collect the womens victory. And the Eppens duo of Brian and Kim won yet another tandem title. In the Short and Fat, Jake Richards made it three victories in a row and Anna Ganju was the top woman.
