Tri-Loppet Coverage
June 25, 2011Racers returned to Theodore Wirth park Saturday for the first time since the devastating tornado passed through last June, as the Tri-Loppet participants made their way from Lake Calhoun all the way up to Wirth chalet before finishing near Wirth beach. Several sections of the mountain bike course, especially on the east side, were only recently cleared of downed trees and brush. Zach Handler and Kim Rudd easily won the solo titles.
