CXC Super Fit Coming to Fontana Sports this Weekend

CXC Super Fit is coming to Fontana Sports (Madison, WI) this coming weekend with CXC Team athletes and coaches!

Bring your old skis to test if they have a good fit for you, learn what conditions they will ski the best and compare them to new skis side by side. CXC Team athletes and coaches will also assist in finding your best pair of skis from the store stock or from the hand-picked Super Fit stock.

Each Superfit Weekend is also about getting advice on technique, training and waxing. CXC athletes and coaches will be on hand to complement the store's staff and assist you with boots selection and fitting, poles selection and length, ski apparel and wax box insights.

WHAT IS CXC 3D PRESSURE MAT?

CXC's 3D pressure mat is the most comprehensive ski analysis device available to consumers. Simple in use and easy to understand it provides dynamic 3D live imaging of how your skiing forces are distributed through a ski's running surface as you move.

See your skis' reaction in 3 dimensions on a flat screen display. We can guarantee you will leave your SuperFit fitting not only with superbly preforming skis, but also with an in-depth understanding on how skis turn your kick and gliding motions into forward speed.

NEW THIS YEAR: POWER POLES AND NEW DOUBLE POLE ERG

Come and see the exciting new tools that CXC has developed to further sport science in nordic skiing. The power pole is a wireless device developed to monitor force output from each poling motion. By collecting this data, athletes and coaches are provided with feedback allowing them to adjust cadence or the amount of force being applied on each pole.

CXC has also developed a new double pole erg system. The new system employs a rail system that very accurately simulates double poling on snow and utilizes actual poles. Instead of pulling on a rope, the user pushes on poles which track both horizontally and vertically. Help us test it out!

NEW THIS YEAR: MADNORSKI SKI SWAP
Madnorski is partnering with Fontana Sports for this year's ski swap and it is this coming weekend. The swap will be at Fontana's westside Location - 231 Junction Rd., Madison WI. The Swap is open to public Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm. Go to www.madnorski.org for more details.

10 am - 8 pm: 3D Ski Flex Mat Testing & Flex Light Table Testing
10 am - 8 pm: Measure yourself against other skiers on the “CXC NORDIC SKI ERGOMETER"
(simple double pole test will give you an idea where you will finish at the 2015 Birkie)

Saturday, Nov. 1st:
*All clinics meet at Fontana's west side location*
8 am: Free "Taste of Nordic" Dryland & Rollerski Technique Clinic
10 am - 8 pm: 3D Ski Flex Mat Testing & Flex Light Table Testing

- First time skiers from MadNorSki junior teams have first pick. 4pm-6pm

Friday, October 31
- Swap item collection 8am to 10am
- Swap is open to public 10am to 8pm
