Please join us on January 8, 2015 for an evening of fun, food, music and philanthropy as the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation brings its first-ever Capital Fundraising Campaign to the Bicycle Doctor in Dousman, WI!  Phase 1 is all about securing the future of the race with a permanent start area near Telemark and improving the finish line and post-race experiences. Come learn about the new permanent start area, how we plan to give you access to warm, indoor spaces at the finish, and the re-creation of Tony Wise's iconic International Bridge!

We need the support of the entire Birkie Community to make this happen! The Birkie is no longer just a race that happens one day a year - it has evolved into a community, a lifestyle, an ideology of healthy living - and the lifeblood, the thread that holds it together, is the race itself. Success with our first ever capital fundraising campaign will ensure our future and make the race even better. 

Feel free to bring your skis for a workout at nearby Lapham Peak before the event starts!

Small Wax Classes

 Have you wanted to learn or improve your waxing technique?  Harry our resident wax guru will be hosting small waxing classes.  For $30 he will teach you the Zen art of waxing! All you need to do is bring your ski's and we will provide the wax, tools and bench! We will be holding classes Wednesday nights at 6PM.  Please email Harry at  [email protected] to sign up.
