Boulder Nordic Rollerski Demo

Boulder Nordic Sport Midwest is hosting a free rollerski demo at Hyland Lake Park on Sunday, May 17 from 8:00am-12:00noon. We will be in the upper parking lot near Jan’s cabin.

Try the latest equipment to get an advantage in your off-season training! We will have skate and classic rollerskis available from SkiGo and Woodski, as well as the new Fischer rollerskis.

The SkiGo rollerskis’ composite carbon fiber shafts are lightweight, dampen vibration from the road, and provide a realistic ski feel. They have NIS plates, making mounting of NNN bindings a snap! Woodski rollerskis are built by hand in New Hampshire from laminated birch. The shafts are strong, provide noise and vibration dampening, and flex like a real ski. Woodski also includes a brake with every pair of skis.

If you are serious about improving your race results in the winter or if you want to maintain or increase the fitness that you gained after a winter of training, rollerskiing is the best way to do it. This is a great chance to try before you buy, or check out the latest equipment if you’re ready for an upgrade. We are excited to help!
