- Associate Head Coach Nordic Ski: Michigan Tech (Houghton, MI):
Michigan Tech has posted position of Associate Head Coach Nordic Skiing/Assistant Coach Cross-Country Running and Track & Field. The position is a 12 month position and would be working with head coach Joe Haggenmiller, two graduate assistants for CC/Track and Field, two part time TF event coaches, some student assistants, and volunteer wax technicians to lead Michigan Tech's CC/NS/TF programs.

NDC Thunder Bay is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic Head Coach to lead our organization into the future. The goal of NDC Thunder Bay is to provide a training environment that allows athletes to develop their potential to qualify for Cross Country Canada’s National Ski Team. Brother Jerome Rademacher Passes On February 16, 2012 Any skiers who've lived in SE Minnesota undoubtedly know the name, Brother Jerome -- the creator of the St. Mary's University ski trails, as well as the top groomer. Rademacher passed away on Wednesday, Feb 15th. A visitation has been set for Monday afternoon, Feb 20th, in the Toner Student Center Lounge. A funeral Mass will that evening in the SMU gymnasium, followed by a reception.

Rich Spielberg Passes Away November 25, 2011 Rich Spielberg, well-known within the Twin Cities cycling and skiing community (and part-time photographer), passed away on Thursday after battling a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. Funeral service Sunday Nov 27th at noon, Beth El Synagogue in St. Louis Park.

Movie Night at Lapham Peak October 3, 2011 The Peak Nordic Masters group is showing an outdoor movie at Lapham Peak State Park this Friday evening, Oct 7th. The movie Megamind will be shown on a 30' inflatable screen/projection system and is free to the general public. All proceeds from concession sales will be donated to the Peak Nordic Programs to help with youth cross country skiing development.
MNSA Hires Executive Director September 6, 2011 The Minnesota Nordic Ski Association is excited to announce the hiring of Michael Meehlhause to the position of Executive Director. Meehlhause has been the Commissioner of the Minnesota Skinnyski Series the past two seasons and is a recent graduate of Bemidji State University.

Kayaking Accident Takes Life of Winona State Skier June 10, 2011 Kevin Dammen, twin brother of Kyle Dammen, of Austin, MN, passed away Tuesday in a kayaking accident on Lake Superior. Dammen was cofounder of the WSU cross-country ski club and a member of the cross-country team. Services will be held Sunday in Austin.
