YOKO 232 System Dominates US Nationals Results

The YOKO 232 grip/glove system was the grip/glove system of choice Saturday during the Freestyle Mass start races at the US National Championships (Men 30 km and Women 15 km).

In the Men’s race, Justin Wadsworth took the US National championship and Marcus Nash took the Silver medal using the YOKO 232 grips. Marcus also used the YOKO Power Poles. Furthermore, although perhaps 10% of the field was using the Yoko 232 System, 6 of the top 12 men chose 232!

In the Women’s race, Nina Kempel took the championship just in front of Katerina Hanusova from the University of Nevada-Reno Ski Team. Both Nina and Katerina used the YOKO 232 grips and Katerina also used the YOKO Power Poles as well. Completing the 232 podium sweep, NMU’s Aubrey Smith took the bronze medal using Yoko 232 grips/gloves and YOKO Power Poles.

Of the top 3 Men and Women, 5 out of the 6 used the YOKO 232 system and 3 out of 6 used YOKO Power Poles. The US Nationals was a great coming out party for YOKO!

On the world level, the YOKO 232 system shined again netting 1st and 2nd in a Nordic Combined "A" World Cup in Reit Im Winkl, Germany. Kristian Hammer won with Bjarte Engen Vik second.
