While all Loppet events are expected to come close to closing this year, the Hoigaard's Classic is expected to actually close. Classic registrations have been running 40% ahead of last year and the event is within 70 registrations of filling altogether.

On a related note, because of the large numbers of registrants, the Hoigaard's Classic will start in three waves - one minute apart. This is another reason to register early - any person who registers after Tuesday, February 2 will have no opportunity to request a different wave placement.
