Victor C Dunder Nordic Ski Award

Nordic Ski Coaches,

it is that time of year to start thinking about the VCD Award. This is an award to get good equipment into the hands of skiers who would normally not be able to afford it. They must currently be a first year skier on your team this season. They would receive the award for next season, in their second year. For those coaches whose skiers have already received the award for this year, please get on your skiers to write their Thank You Letter to the shops (I also need to receive a copy of the letter). This is more important than they realize, being not only the polite thing to do but has also been a deal breaker for some shops that never received a note. I have received only two copies so far. Thanks for all that you do - you all deserve a special award this year fielding competitive teams in these condotions!
