Pepsi Challenge Up-date - Warmer Weather Ahead
Hello Skiers:
Our forecast is looking good for the Pepsi Challenge. Above zero temps for race start and highs in the 20’s for the afternoon. Race course is in fantastic shape and ready to go – 24” base! Race Course is marked with K-markers for those who are able to get a chance to ski it before the race.
Still time to register for the Pepsi Challenge. On-line registration goes until Wednesday, March 5th. Friday registration at the Biwabik Park Pavilion Noon – 10 pm. Spaghetti Feed 4 – 8 pm – all you can eat $8.00. Saturday registration from 7 – 8:30 am at the Biwabik Park Pavilion. Leave yourself enough time to drive from Biwabik to Giants Ridge – about a 5 mile drive. Classic races start at 9:00 am - Freestyle races at 9:30 am – 10K race at 9:45 am.
Each registered skier will receive a lunch ticket for the Competitors Luncheon – cost is included in your registration price. If you need any extra lunch tickets for family/friends – they must be ordered before Wednesday, March 5th. You can contact me about extra lunch tickets.
