Illinois Roller Ski Race Series Kicks Off Saturday
Illinois Roller Ski Race Series
Moraine Hills State Park: McHenry, IL USA
Distance: 5k and 10k
The Illinois Roller Ski Race Series consists of four 10 k races where the top 30 male, female and junior racers in each race earn points towards the season champion awards.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for the top finishing male, female and junior are hand out at a barbecue that follows each race. The food is great and everyone has a chance to share stories, and to rest up to go out on an optional pick up training roller ski.
100% of the net proceeds from the races are donated to support local cross country skiing, which include but not limited to Moraine Hills, Wisconsin Biathlon and the Wisconsin DNR.

Points are earned towards Season Championship Awards

• Sat. August 2nd (Family day and free lessons for beginners)
• Sun. September 7th (awards and BBQ at NORGE)
• Sun. October 5th
• Sun. November 2nd
