NEW FOR 2015: CHIP TIMING
The race's sponsors added this exciting feature to facilitate prompt posts of results for competitors, fans and the media.
Increased participation resulted from the race's inclusion in the Skiwerx and Cities Cup competitions, necessitating the move to faster timing.
"Of course, we welcome all competitors, whether they're part of the overall points race or not. College and club teams, age-groupers and citizen racers are invited," said Race Director Bob Mehrhof.
Shop teams will compete for the Top shop Traveling Trophy, won in 2014 by Joe's of St. Paul. A full year's bragging rights come with the trophy.
And it's those same shops that contribute to the fabulous door prizes that add fun to the event. Each race packet will include an embossed neck warmer, another new feature this year.
