Borah Epic hosts record field for year three

Hayward Wisconsin - A crisp, cool May morning set the tone for the 3rd annual Borah Epic. Record field sizes ensured for strong competition, while racers anxiously prepared to enter the fast single-track course, tacky from rain showers the previous afternoon.  (Photo: James Netz)

Overall male and female champions for the full Epic included Jesse Lalonde (Minneapolis, MN) and Jenna Rinehart (Mankato, MN), while Michael Haag and Keely Jackson (both Hayward, WI), sealed the top men’s and women’s titles in the half.

Post-race, riders enjoyed an epic atmosphere with Molly and the Danger Band live on stage, with refreshments powered by Organic Valley, Jack Links and the Angry Minnow Brew Pub.
