Elm Creek Wednesday Night Race Results

Conditions: Air Temp. 35F, light wind, fast icy conditions with the refreezing of fresh and man- made snow.

Course: ( 1.3K loop,x 3) both skate and classic.

Coming back from Yellow Stone with more k’s of skiing under his belt, Dan DeRoma took home the gold. He had two skiers in the chase for the crown, up until the last lap to the finish. Joe Bettendorf and Cory Med made Dan work for his victory. Top women’s skate finisher was Maria Hauer, this is a familiar spot for finishing at the top for her. The top finisher for Male’s classic race was Joe Bettendorf and only a few seconds behind came Kristian Johnson and Karl Holub. Maria Hauer took home the gold in Classic for women, her 2nd victory of the night.
