Borah Epic and Trek team up to create one-of-a-kind mountain bike

Coon Valley, WI. Hold on to your handlebars, the Borah Epic bike is here. Created by Trek's project one team, the Epic bike features Trek’s Procaliber 9.8 SL build, with its very own custom color scheme and matching Borah Epic and CAMBA logos painted on the frame.

Each year, Trek generously sponsors the Borah Epic and donates a race bike to raise funds for CAMBA as part of the Epic’s online auction. “The Trek bike is always the highlight of the auction,” said Jack Zabrowski, Borah Epic’s race director. “Not only does it contribute to the overall success of fundraising for the trails, it allows one individual the opportunity to own a race bike that is simply priceless,” added Zabrowski.

About the Epic

The Borah Epic, founded in 2013, is a point-to-point, single track race from Cable to Hayward, Wisconsin that has raised over $37,000 for CAMBA (otherwise known as the Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association). The Epic pays tribute to the trails by combining an online auction and race profits from the event each year.

CAMBA has built, and continues to maintain over 100 miles of pristine single-track trail, coating the northwest Wisconsin area, a place where many outdoor endurance athletes flock year-round for premium recreation, exercise and events.
