MNHSNSCA: Voting/Awards/Spring Mtg

Good afternoon coaches, hope your getting a chance to enjoy the spring snow with some personal ski time…you deserve it!

We are tentatively planning for our spring meeting for Saturday, April 21. I say tentative because I am still waiting to hear about CXC and coaches education, and want to make sure it fits for them as well. Stay tuned.

Please don’t forget to send in your Victor C. Dunder Award nominees. See below from Denny Green:

Coaches,
Congratulations on finishing your season. But don’t forget about the Victor C Dunder Award. This award is, in short, an award designed to get quality equipment to FIRST YEAR skiers in financial need. It needs to be based on need. You may nominate one boy OR one girl from your team who is a first year skier to receive the award. Please see the link on the coaches’ website for more info. There is an application that each skier needs to fill out and also a short form and essay that the coach needs to fill out as well. Remember, the coach needs to be a member of the coaches association. Deadline is March 31st. Online forms: Victor C. Dunder Award

Lastly, we are ready to open up the window for you to vote for the deserving nominees for Head Coach of the Year, Asst. Coach of the Year, and Volunteer of the year. Reminder that both the Head and Asst. nominees need to be Association members, the Volunteer does not. Please use the online form to submit the nominees. This window will be open through Friday,, March 16. We will then send out a form to vote on those nominated.
