Stride, Ride, Glide Tri
In it's second year the March 3rd Stride, Ride, Glide tri which raises funds for grooming equipment for the Superior Municipal Forest Trails. that are groomed 7 days a week, will have a few exciting changes! The 5k run continues to be on a closed flat plowed dirt road, the 10k bike will again be on the concrete like packed snowmobile trail (which is closed to snowmobiles that day), and the ski will utilize the NEW purple connector trail and the yellow making it closer to a 12k instead of the 8k from last year.
- New this year are age group awards and hot dogs post race.
- Classic tracks will also be groomed in this year so you can use either technique.
- The Mayor of Superior will be participating as an individual, even though he has not skied since childhood!
In addition, those participating in the event will have a chance to win a free entry to the 2020 Birkie, Korte, or Prince Haakon!
Awards will be on site this year and the 3 hour time limit has been lifted. There is still a limit of 100 people and no race day registration.
Register online through Thursday and in person during packet pick up on Saturday March 2nd from 4 to 5 at Tortoise and Hare Footwear.
