SKADI'S CHASE 8K RACE ELM CREEK PARK RESERVE

Join us on Saturday, December 7, from 8 – 10 a.m., at Elm Creek Park Reserve, Maple Grove, and welcome winter with Skaði (ska-dee), the Norse goddess of skiers! First 200 racers receive a commemorative cloth bib; all racers get a Minnesota Nordic Ski Opener buff. Registration and packet pick- up open at 6:30 a.m.; race starts at 8 a.m. Awards at 9:30 a.m. for the top three men, women, high school boys and high school girls, plus door prize drawings. After the race, stay for Minnesota’s biggest day of skiing at the Minnesota Nordic Ski Opener.

Cost is $25 for those who pre-register and $35 the day of the event. High school racers receive $10 off. Register online or all 763-559-6700 to pre-register and save. Pre-registration ends December 1. This race is for ages 12+. Volunteers needed.
