MYSL Annual Ski Swap

The Minnesota Youth Ski League is pleased to host this big event, open to the entire public. The sale is being held as a fundraiser for MYSL and provides skiers the opportunity to sell outgrown and little used equipment and clothing. We request that sellers limit merchandise to items that are directly related to cross country skiing. No downhill gear, please!

Monticello Ski Swap

Nov. 21 from 5-9pm and Nov. 22 from 8am 1pm at the Monticello Middle School. Located at the East arena entrance of the Monticello Middle School, east end of town on Highway 75 (main street) with proceeds benefiting the Monticello Nordic Ski team.

Equipment may be checked in starting Friday at 4pm. You must price your own equipment. Cross-country skis, downhill skis and snowboards are welcome. A check in fee of $1.00 per item will be charged. The sale fee is 15%.

Selection of new cross country skis, snowboards and downhill skis will also be available from retailers.

No Credit cards accepted.

Annual Winter Gear Swap

The North House Folk School and the NSSRC will combine efforts for this year's Annual Winter Gear Swap (formerly known as the ski swap). You may bring any winter related gear including skis, snowshoes, skates, clothing, sleeping bags, etc. The Swap will be held Saturday, November 22, as part of North House's Winterer's Gathering and Arctic Film festival.

Here is the schedule:
9 am - 11:30 am - Gear Check In
Noon - 2 pm - Gear Swap
The swap will be under the blacksmith timber frame. Make plans to attend!

Northern Lights Nordic Ski Club Ski Swap

The Northern Lights Nordic Ski Club is conducting its annual Ski Swap at Central Square Mall on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone interested in selling their used cross country ski and related equipment should bring it to the mall Saturday morning. A percentage of each sale helps support the work of Northern Lights Nordic Ski Club.

There also will be close-out skis, both recreational and high end. Expert technicians will be available to mount bindings and fit skis. Ski club volunteers will help fit equipment and go over the swap procedures with prospective buyers and sellers. Used cross country skis and boots are available through the swap. No Alpine or downhill equipment will be available or accepted.

Lakeland Nordic Ski Team Annual Ski Swap

The Lakeland Nordic Ski Team Annual Ski Swap will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at the Lakeland Union High School Commons, Minocqua, WI

Schedule:
Bring items in to be sold 4pm-5pm
Sale 5pm-6:30pm
Unsold items to be picked up at 6:30 pm

20% of each sale will go towards helping support the Lakeland Nordic Ski Team: Kids ages 10-18

There will also be a bake sale, pizza sale, and ski waxing. All types of winter sports equipment is welcome. Area ski shops, including Winter Park, Coontail Sports, and Mel's Trading Post, will also be there with items for sale.

40th Annual Ski and Snowboard Resale

The huge annual Hoofers ski swap at UW-Madison is the weekend of December 6-7th. Check-in is on Thursday and Friday, the big sale runs Saturday and Sunday.

St. Croix Valley Minnesota Youth Ski League Ski Swap

The St. Croix Valley Minnesota Youth Ski League is holding a kids registration and ski swap this Sunday Dec. 7th at 1 p.m. Our group is switching from the USSA Bill Koch to MYSL and have been operating as a club for 26 years with well over 100 kids skiing every Sunday at O'Brien State Park in Marine. Our numbers have been way down the last few years because of the snow but we have new leadership under Mike Berglund and we're fired up.

The ski swap check in is at 1 p.m. at the William O'Brien Trail Center with skis open for sale at 1:30 pm. We'll have cider, bonfire smores and activities for the 4-13 year olds interested in skiing with us. We'll find a patch to ski on or hike depending on preference. Sign-up for the club will happen from 1-3 p.m. in the trail center at O'Brien. The cost is only $20 for the year per child.
