After the disappoint of a failed forecast last night and a day of drizzle, a change has been made in the format of the 2019 Seeley Hills Classic. All races will start from the Birkie Start venue outside Cable. The long race will start at 10 AM with skiers racing to Timber Trail on the Birkie Skate trail before turning south on Classic trail. The racers will pass through the start area for a second lap and a distance of 30k. The short race will start at 10:15 similarly skiing to Timber Trail before turning south to the finish at the start venue for a distance of 15k. High School and middle school races will start at 10:30. Friday night registration and bib pick up will be at the Sawmill Saloon from 5 to 9. On Saturday morning registration and bib pick up will be in the Great Hall at the start from 8 to 9:30. Soup, raffle and awards will start at 2 PM at the Sawmill Saloon. The forecast going forward looks good and the grooming staff of the ABSF feels confident.
