The 2009 Minnesota Skinnyski Series includes the following events:

January 11, 2009 – Boulder Lake Race – 31 K Freestyle
January 17, 2009 – Pepsi Challenge – 25 K Classic
January 24, 2009 – Governor’s Cup – 25 K Freestyle
February 1, 2009 – City of Lakes Loppet – 33 K Freestyle
February 8, 2009 – Mora Vasaloppet – 42 K Classic
February 14, 2009 – Minnesota Finlandia – 25 K Pursuit

Once again, the overall male and female winners will travel to Iceland for the Fossavatn – Iceland’s international marathon.  A new twist will hopefully open the Series a bit – each skier may only win the Fossavatn Trip once in every three years.  

Age Class, Team and Skier-of-the-Year competition will also be back.  Team registration is free!  Win the prestigious Skinnyski Team Ski back in the hands of Peter's Cheaters team; the team competition is expected to be fierce.  Register teams at www.minnesotaksinnyskiseries.com .  

The 2009 banquet is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2009 in Mora, Minnesota.  Mark the date on the calendar.
