New Addition to Battle Creek Trails

Ramsey County is working on an addition to the Battle Creek, Winthrop
site, trail system. I hiked part of the new trail in mid-July and
shot a number of photos. The new trail section is very impressive
and should prove to be very challenging and extremely fun. There
are some great hills, banked curves, and wonderful run outs. The
map below shows only the new section (mapped by GPS), and only the
part that has been graded so far.
Plans are to have this new section completed by this fall, so
it will be ready for use this upcoming season!
