Trail Work Day at Pine Point, Sunday Oct 29

Washington County Parks had begun Mtn/Fat Bike trail development at Pine Point (East of Norel Ave). The first part of a new trail has been mowed and brushed as of a few days ago. It’s still very rough and bumpy. The hope is that with snow cover this Winter the trails will be groomed for Fat Biking in the snow. To that end the woodland portions of the trail need to be cleaned up. This will involve picking and throwing sticks and branches and raking mulch piles and marking stumps for grinding.

Trail Work Day at Pine Point  Sunday Oct 29 11am-1pm. If you’d like to help please bring gloves and rakes, wear sturdy shoes. Park in the regular lot and we’ll walk over to the East Side to the wooded areas. Late arrivals just follow the mowed trails to the north and east.

Snacks provided afterwards. Please RSVP to Steve Thatcher (Ride and Glide Bike Club at [email protected]
