• Feb 16 - Birkie Trail (Hayward):
  Afternoon
  [ Good skis ]
  Firsthand: Freestyle 
  
  Conditions: Great base, soft in some places resulting in less than desired glide, especially on ascents.
  A few more inches of snow for the groomers to work and the expected cold should firm it up for a fast race Saturday. Skated from OO south to Phipps Fire Lane and back. Only skaters out while I was here with decent looking tracks for classic skiers.
