  Four different loops marked for beginner, moderate, or advanced classic-style skiers, along with a small section for skate-skiing. The ski trails start in the Steinke Basin meadow, then wind their way through oak, ash, hickory, and maple forests.

  Features sandstone bluffs surrounding half the lake. 
Blue Mounds 3  Blue Mound State Park    13K     608-437-5711
  This park is situated at the highest point in Southern WI. Tne trails wind through hardwoods and rolling hills with some fields. There are also a number of panoramic overlooks. 
Cambridge 4  Cam-Rock Park    6.4km     608-242-4576
  This park is in three separate sections. The longest trail is in section 2, and section 3 in Rockdale has a steeper hill. 
Campbellsport 5  Zillmer Ski Trails    18K     920-533-8322
  Located in the North Kettle Moraine State Forest, near the Ice Age Trail Visitor Center. 
Cross Plains 6  Indian Lake Park    15km    
  Cross-country ski and nature trails wind through the wooded hills, and there is a log cabin warming house.

  Located in the Kettle Moraine State Forest, the trails wind through wooded hills and open meadows. There is a 3.2K lighted trail. 
Eagle 8  McMiller    28km     262-594-6202
  Part of the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest. The trails pass through hardwoods forest and pine plantations. Five trails of different distances and degrees of difficulty greet skiers of all abilities.  
Eagle 9  Scuppernong    15km     262-594-6202
  Located in Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest and connects with the Ice Age trail. 
Greenbush 10  Greenbush Ski Trails    25K    
  Located in the Kettle Moraine North State Forest, these are some of the best known trails in SE Wisconsin. Heated shelter and sledding hill too. Roughly 2K of lighted trail.

  Trails run through the woods and over the fairways of Whitnall Park Golf Course. 
Hartford 12  Pike Lake Unit    11km     262-670-3400
  Groomed cross-country ski trails in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. A warming shelter with fireplace is available in the south picnic area. 
Janesville 13  Rockport Park    10km     608-755-3025
  Largest park in the Janesville area. Groomed by Friends of Rockport Park. 
Kenosha 14  UW-Parkside Ski Trail    9km    
  Groomed by University of Wisconsin, usually skating and classic. Fairly flat. Located right across the road from Petrifying Springs County Park and uses same parking lot. 
La Grange 15  Nordic Ski Trail    30K     262-594-6202
  Part of the Kettle Moraine State Forest - Southern Unit. Rolling to hilly terrain, groomed and tracked. New warming shelter and outhouses. 
Lodi 16  Lodi Area Ski Trails    6.5K    
  Skate and classic trail on Lakeland Hills Golf Course and adjoining farm fields along woods maintained and groomed by Lodi XC Ski Club. Trail head is on Strangway Ave at the northeast corner of Lakeland Hills. Trails include several mostly open loops for beginner through advanced skiers, including a 120ft vertical climb.  
Madison 17  Cherokee Marsh - South Unit    5km    
  Classic trails through marsh and woods along the Yahara River. 
Madison 18  Elver Park    10K    
  Two main loops: East and West trails. East trails are more hilly, West trails are lighted (5K).

  Gently rolling hills. Maintained by Madison Parks. 
Madison 20  Odana Hills Golf Course    5.7K     608-266-4724
  Mainly flat course with fairly wide trails. 
Madison 21  Olin-Turville Park    3.4km    
  Woods with scenic vistas, right on Lake Monana. 
Maple Bluff 22  Maple Bluff Country Club    2K     608-249-2144
  Gently rolling trails on the golf course. 
Menomonee Falls 23  Menomonee Park    8K    
  Nice groomed skiing track that loops around this small Waukesha County Park (also known locally as Lannon Quarry). Can be reached via the bugline recreation trail.  
Middleton 24  Pleasant View Golf Course    5mi     608-827-1086
  The golf course has groomed ski trails for intermediate to advanced skiers. 
Milwaukee 25  Brown Deer Park    5K    
  Trails roll over the golf course and woods. 
Nashotah 26  Nashotah Park    10km     262-548-7800
  Nashotah Park features three loops on gently rolling to hilly terrain. 
Sheboygan 27  Evergreen/Maywood    5.5km     920-467-2099
  Evergreen and Maywood Parks have a connecting trail system. The main trail follows the Pigeon River and is fairly flat, rising a few times into the bluffs above the river. Parts of the Evergreen trails are lit. 
Stoughton 28  Lake Kegonsa State Park    10K     608-873-9695
  Most of the ski trails are easy to moderate in difficulty. A few have hills with difficult turns.  
Waukesha 29  Minooka Park    11K     262-548-7801
  Has dependable grooming and track setting and holds snow well due to grooming and trail layout. Some problems with hikers. Trail hub is 3rd parking lot. Long loop is moderately hilly with long inclines/declines. Out-Houses only.  
Waunakee 30  Governor Nelson State Park    6.5K     608-831-3005
  Located next to Lake Mendota, the park features restored prairie and savanna, and effigy mounds. 
West Bend 31  Fox Hill Nordic    8.5K    
  Challenging two way loops in the Kettle Moraine region in a 145 acre nature conservancy. Fox Hill Nordic is entirely maintained by memberships and volunteers. 
West Bend 32  Lac Lawrann Conservancy    3km     262-335-5085
  Within the West Bend city limits sits a 148-acre natural area connected another 35 acres of neighborhood park. It offers a beautiful setting in the hilly Kettle Moraine. The groomed trails traverse a prairie and take you through a deciduous woodland and a red pine plantation. Other ungroomed trails are open for both skiers and snow-shoers.
