Entire system groomed - single track/skate lane - and it looks great! Skate deck smooth, firm and fast. Most tracks are deep with some shallower sections. Should set up well with cold temps. If there was ever a time to ski - do it Thursday! I did put "B" skis again, only because there is still one 20 ft section under a large white pine that has minimal snow.

Conditions good, thank you to the groomer for leaving tracks grooming a nice skate deck. Enjoyable while kids were sledding.

I groomed but didn't ski the trails. I dragged the whole system, churned the surface, but didn't track it. I left just a few sections of tracks that were still in ok shape. I put "B" skis for the ski rating only because there are two small sections of bare ground just west of the trailhead. The rest of the trails have good snow cover with pretty clean-looking snow. Not many leaves! There are a few sections of hard packed snow here and there too that were tough to churn up - again, mostly by the trailhead. I think these trails would be fantastic to skate this weekend - and classic too! Come on out and enjoy them!

We picked up about 4-5 inches of new snow. The entire 7 km system was groomed and it's in fantastic shape. Skate deck is firm, smooth corduroy and the tracks are firm and deep. I set one track in most places, two tracks where the trail was wider. Great snow coverage everywhere except one small 30 ft segment near the trail head under a big white pine tree, otherwise good skis are fine.

Groomed the entire 7 km system and it looks like it turned out well! With a couple inches of new snow, I churned the new snow into the old snow and the trail smoothed out well. I did set one track in most places. The skate deck looks great. Great snow coverage everywhere except one small 30 ft segment near the trailhead - otherwise good skis are fine. It was windy when I groomed, so some areas will be a little windblown.

Nordmarka Trails were packed on Tuesday, then regroomed with tracks set on Wednesday. Trails are fabulous. Tracks are deep and firm. Skate deck flat and smooth!

Just groomed this evening - Excited because I could set tracks for the first time! Double set of tracks on most sections along with a skate lane. Fresh, wonderful, soft powder. Tracks deep and should set up firm. Come and ski!

Fantastic skiing in Eagle River. Recently groomed - skate late was flat and firm. Very little organic debris, saw no rocks. Did cross the cart path a few times - with no issues. No classic track, but many were out striding anyway.

Packed the entire 7 km Nordmarka Trail system. Great snow coverage but just not quite enough to lay a track. Firm, flat and wide. Beautiful setting.
