Notes

Mostly wooded terrain along segments of Plover River. Warming shelter open on weekends. Located off Hwy 66 east of Stevens Point past the airport; turn right at Plover River Trail sign.

Firsthand: Classic 
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skiable. Good tracks were set, but the wind has filled the tracks with leaves and needles. The north end (off of hwy 66) is cleaner than the south (off Barbara's Lane). If you use waxless skis you can still have a good workout, but watch out for the three road crossings on the Isaak Walton property - they've been scraped down to gravel so taking off your skis to cross is a good idea.

Double tracked, no skate lane. Tracks were in good condition with some oak leaves. One spot has some pine branches hanging over track. Enjoyable day in the woods.
