Conditions: Very good. Skate lane has nicely transformed clean snow. Classic tracks are clean and smooth.
Skied during that magic hour around sunset when the trail was freezing up, making for a fast and fun ski. The classic tracks were amazing, and the skate lane was a little rutted from the day's use. Eric is doing a great job with the spring grooming, and was heading out as I left. The river is rising, get out and ski it while you can!

Grooming Scheduling
[ B skis ]
Conditions: We had a good day of spring skiing today. I powertilled about 15 km of combination trails and Rick tracked about 35 km of single tracks and the Highlands. I will be out again powertilling in the early morning.
The snow is holding up well and temps are below freezing at night the river is rising but has not flooded yet so most of the main trails are skiing and grooming well. Bear Bait is closed due to flooding. It looks like we will make the weekend for skiing and for Taste of the Trails.

Grooming Scheduling

Conditions today: The skiing today was very good spring skiing conditions! There are no bare spots and no ice on what I groomed this AM. I did see some water flowing across Cherry Dairy.
Conditions this week and weekend: I see that we are past the warm evenings temps for a few days which will help keep the River from rising! I see us grooming 15-50 km/day thru the weekend. We are running the PB on the combo trails and even with above freezing temps the PB can till up the corn and make a nice ski surface. We are planning on having the Taste of the Trails Saturday from 12-2 and we have 5 restaurants signed up so far. We will allow snow shoeing on the Taste and Trails afternoon. We expect to Close Sunday at 5 PM for the season March 13th.

Grooming
[ Good skis ]
The skiing this morning was quite good, we groomed up about 20 km and skiers were quite happy. The temps got warm and we may be able to groom again in the morning. the River is rising and the snow is melting. We will keep you posted. As of right now we are have Spring Ski conditions. We expect to make it for the Taste of the Trails this weekend ....but not too much past that based on the forecast.
We have reduced prices on our groomers and snowmobiles that we are selling this spring, check our website.

Conditions: Excellent on both Saturday and Sunday. Huge base, pristine conditions, midwinter skiing, only the best you can get.
We enjoyed midwinter skiing conditions in spring temperatures. Saturday was the best ever, Sunday, with temperatures rising, one had to be out before noon. But what fun. Thanks Eric and Angela, and if we don't make it up again this month, we will be back in, oh, only eight months now.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Solid skate deck and solid deep tracks.
skied Thursday thru today. Conditions were award-winning. Plenty of snow. Pristine grooming, as always! Temperatures were moderate every day - mid twenties up into the 30's, maybe going into upper 40's today. Our group of eight skated and classiced and we were chirping like birds. Big time fun; a skiers dream. Thank you Angela and Eric and staff for a stellar performance!

We picked up 2 inches of snow far tonight. the Pisten Bully is heading out on the trails tonight and we have a full crew heading out to groom in the AM. Skiing should be perfect Saturday nad pretty good Sunday too! Next week is going to warm up a bit I am not sure how skiing will be mid week, I am guessing Monday/Tuesday will be OK. I do not think that the temps are going to get warm up enough to be a game stopper! Taste of the Trails is on for next Saturday.

We groomed 65 km of the 70 km after the snowfall from yesterday. The trails are skiing well, like mid winter conditions. Season passes on sale for the rest of this year and all of next year at discounted prices.
