Trail consists of paved bike trail and one way traffic on "wilderness drive" encircling beautiful Lake Itasca, headwaters of the Mississippi. (Submitted by Phil Rogers) Pros: Very scenic and also challenging in length and terrain. Cons: Trail often has pine needles and other debris along with current new construction. Several downhills are very wicked.
