Notes

Pomme de Terre Park is on the east side of Morris, and all the trails are on the west side of the Pomme de Terre River. On the south side of the park is County Highway 10, which heads east out of town. This road is hilly, smooth, and there's little traffic. An out-and-back trip on 10 (take it as far as you want) allows for good hill work, but you never get going too fast on the downhills. (Submitted by Kurt Refsnider) Pros: Good pavement in the park - all freshly paved or resurfaced; County 10 is smooth and hilly. Cons: Not too much distance on the park trails; Wind can make rollerskiing no fun out here on the prairie.
