The 2k and the 7k loops are groomed and tracked. The 4k is groomed but not tracked, and the 11k and 16k loops were just run with the snowmobile. We will try to finish the outer loops very soon! Big Thanks to our volunteer Katie for grooming for us today! Very much appreciated! Come out and enjoy the trails while we still have good snow!!

We skied the 2 and 7 k trails right after the groomer went out. On the 7 k loop the first part was groomed and the second part tracked. It was a gorgeous day, and when the tracks set up they should be awesome. Hopefully groomers will also be able to do the 11 and 17 k loops.

We have had 2 inches of new snow since we last groomed Rock Lake. New tracks set on the entire system and everything is looking beautiful! The cold weather will help it firm up for tomorrow. Do me a solid and get out and enjoy the trail tomorrow morning...Before Mother Nature erases what I did today.

Nothing helps the grooming out like a little bit of fresh snow! The Rock Lake trails recieved 2 new inches over the weekend. Nice deep tracks were set on the whole system today, and they should set up great overnight! Get out and enjoy this exciting classic trail!

Hard fast tracks were a treat for me but whoohoo, they felt like a bobsled run. The trails had been groomed the day before and set up like concrete. I love these trails that I would rate as the most technical trails I've skied. One of the people skiing there was a novice and had to walk out. It is not for beginners. All 16K of trails were tracked.

The Rock lake trail system received minimal amount of snow this past week. There is a bit more debris on the trail from recent windy weather. That being said the trail was re-tracked and is in very good condition except for the Rock Lake loop. The snow on that loop still remains shallow and would not recommend taking your good skis out on it. If you feel like beating the crowds and getting out and enjoying a near wilderness experience, Rock Lake ski trail may be just what you have been looking for. Lots of terrain, lakes, and nature!

Rock Lake is in very good condition. There are a few pine cones and small twigs that showed up after grooming, but overall, it looks great! Good base and plenty of snow! The 16Km segment had a few snow drifts to contend with, but it groomed out really well. Warm temps expected Friday and Saturday.

The Rock Lake trail received 3-4 more inches over the weekend! The whole trail system has been groomed and should have set up nicely with the cold temps last night. The base is currently around 8-10 inches. The condition of the trail is excellent except for the Rock Lake loop which is still a bit thin in the Pines. With the warmer temperatures coming it's a perfect time to get out and enjoy this beautiful classic trail system!

I am excited to report that all loops at Rock Lake ski trail system have been cleared and groomed. The area received 3-4 inches of new snow this week. The snow base is 6-8 inches. The cold temperature set up the tracks nicely, and the conditions are excellent.
