Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Freshly groomed skate lane and track. Quite a few pine cones in the skate lane under the big white pines. Also had some issues with cones getting stuck under the groomer and leaving a track on the edge of the skate deck...errr! As the temps warmed up this morning grooming was a bit more difficult. The cold temps tonight should set up the tracks and deck pretty well, but as the temps climb in the afternoon, the trail will definitely respond accordingly. If you're looking to get out for a few more laps in this season, mornings would definitely be your best bet!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The 7.5k and 13.6k loops were groomed and tracked this morning so the entire trail is open. The 13.6k loop is probably in the best shape of all the loops. Started to warm up on me on the 7.5k so there are a few messy areas. The 2k and 4k loops look like they are holding up well. Beautiful days for getting out and enjoying a morning ski if you can swing it!

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Getting warm out there which always makes grooming interesting! Worked in the new snow from Saturday's event. Groomed and tracked the 2k and 4k loops. The trail will definitely be soft for the remainder of the afternoon (and all afternoons this week). If you can get out at dusk or any time in the morning everything should be firmed up, and fast! Head out there and get it while it lasts!

Groomed in the 5" of snow we had last night. The 2K and 4K loops are groomed and have fresh tracks set. They will be soft but it looks gorgeous out there! Have fun and best of luck to all the skiers this weekend!

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The trail received 2-3 inches of fresh snow in the last 24 hours. The entire trail was groomed and re-tracked. The trail turned out very good and should be looking very nice for tomorrow! Excellent time to give this beautiful trail a try! This trail will remind you of why you started cross country skiing in the first place. Your love of the outdoors, nature, and a bit of solitude!

Trails were groomed, but snow was hardpack on the skate part of the trail, making skate skiing and herringbone climbs hard.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Mukwonago was groomed and re-tracked and it's looking very good going into the weekend. The temps last night will have firmed it up nice, and it should be a lot of fun! The pine sections have a bit of debris in the trail to keep you on your toes, so heads up. Come out and put the finishing touches on your stride and convince yourself your ready for the big race!

Skated Mukwanago midday. Appears to have been groomed several days ago. Maybe 1/2 -1 inch over grooming. Great conditions. Skate deck and tracks in good shape. Some avoidable tree debris.

Mukwonago received very little snow over this past week. Trails were groomed and new tracks were set. Overall trail is very good! Some of the new tracks are a bit shallow and there is a fair amount of cones and debris in the pine sections from the past weeks windy weather. Still, well worth the short drive to check out this trail.
