Fantastic couple of days skiing these beautiful trails! We skied both classic and skate. The skate deck was soft in spots and there was some debris from recent wind but the trails were groomed well! What a wonderful place to ski! Thank you for the excellent job groomers! We will be back for sure!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Mukwonago received about 3 inches of new snow over the weekend. All loops were groomed today, and conditions are excellent. There is some debris (sticks, leaves, and pine needles) from the high winds. Get out there and enjoy this beautiful trail before winter is over!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Mukwonago received about four more inches of snow, yesterday. All ski loops were groomed for skate and classic ski today. The sides of the trail are still pretty soft. I tried to keep the classic tracks further in, so the right pole plant is on the solid deck. I would just take caution with hard pole plants. There was a 50 foot section on the 7 Km where a huge drift formed, so that section is a little bumpy. Otherwise, the trail is in excellent condition! The cold temps tonight, should get it all firmed up nicely.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Over the weekend Mukwonago received about 4-5 inches of snow and very strong, gusty winds. I was able to roll and pack the snow on the 13 Km loop that I didn't get to last week after the snowstorm. I had time to groom the 2 Km and 4 Km for skate and classic. There is more snow forecasted for Tuesday, so we may wait to groom the rest of the trail until Wednesday morning.

I skied the 13.4 K loop. However, it was not groomed beyond the 7 K loop. One or two skate skiers had gone before me but no classic skiers so I ended up breaking a diagonal trail for about 6 K. I would guess there was 10 - 12 inches of fresh snow on the trail. It was slow going but the scenery was awesome. The 2, 4, and 7 K loops had all been groomed for both classic and skate skiers. I would rate the classic track as good to very good other than frequent soft pole plants on the right side. The parking lot was packed when I arrived around 11:30 am.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Mukwonago received 7 more inches of snow this week. I rolled and groomed the 2Km, 4 Km and 7.5 Km loops on Thursday. The conditions are soft, but hopefully firmed up overnight. Grooming plans: I'm going back out today to smooth out the skate deck, since there was a lot of use yesterday.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Today I was able to get out with the groomer and did several swipes around each loop. I got the whole trail system packed and the skate ski lane flat and level. I did not set new tracks due to more snow in the forecast. Grooming plans are to roll trails first thing on Thursday, and then follow up with grooming Thursday afternoon. We will do our best to get the trails ready for Birkie racers who need to get that last minute ski in! Good luck racers!

First time visiting this trail. It's a beautiful, flowing trail; however, the pole plants for classic skiing were really soft on the outside of the track. The pole sank several inches. I will visit again after it's re-groomed. Skate deck looked uneven.

With a dusting of snow on top of fresh grooming from Friday, Joanie and I skied the 13k+ and 2k+ loops as the first skiers Saturday morning. Love the flow of this trail and the woods scenery is great. Unfortunately, the trail was not packed down firm, so we were both sinking down in the tracks and pole plants were soft. We were going to try skating, but the skate lane was uneven in many areas, even though it was much firmer than the tracks.
