Notes

Small park near the end of the Gateway Trail. There is beautiful scenery with trails winding through pine forest, and near small lakes and picturesque farms. The course is quiet, sheltered, and has a lot of fun roling hills. Most of the terrain is intermediate in difficulty.

Trails are groomed with the fresh snow and the sun made it gorgeous...until we stuck. It was 32F when we finished and we had to take our skis off and walk in due to clumping on the bottoms. Wax needed for these temperatures!

Classic skied all the trails with my friend, Jyneen, from Ride and Glide leading me around. Great conditions and really pretty area in the tall pines. Some thin spots under a few pine trees as you'd expect. Some trails have been re-routed -- some downhills, now uphills -- some ups, now downs. Also new signage to help head you in the right direction. It's so nice to ski some of these places we haven't been able to ski in years!
