Another day and slightly warmer brought more walkers to the trail, but the classics are still pretty well intact and firm. Plenty of good skiing left to be had.

Never skied here before, despite working across the freeway for six winters. Trail is rolled and then a single track is set, not tight to one side, but kind of meandering towards the middle, which would have been to tough to skate on without ripping up the tracks. Despite that the tracks were crisp and untrodden, with plenty of short but challenging hills. Plenty of snow depth, with not too much trail litter. Quite sure I was the first skier on many of the segments. Get out and enjoy before the walkers show up.

Mostly a walking and snow shoeing trail but packed well with a couple of inches of new snow. Classic tracks were skied in by several skiers. Snow shoers packed the skate lane quite nicely. Probably won't last too long with the heavy foot traffic but provided a very nice Sunday ski expedition. This trail is groomed occasionally for classic skiing by City staff.
