Grooming plans: We have ceased grooming at Zillmer for the season, hikers are allowed to be on the Zillmer trails at this time. Hope all enjoyed the ski season. See you next winter.

We went out about 4-5 pm today and the trails have seen better days. We did the yellow loop, and it was fair to poor, but we were able to finish. There are beginning to be some bare spots, but we were able to pass. The spots that had been ice were pretty fast, but the snowier spots were very slow. It was a good workout.

Skiable, but only for diehards. I gave it a try Monday morning and found icy hard packed conditions and rutted up trails with some stretches of glare ice. It may improve as the day goes on. Thanks for the wonderful grooming this year. Three solid months of skiing! Happy St. Patty's Day!

Extremely icy, but a beautiful sunny afternoon to ski! Unfortunately the red trail, even the back half, was badly rutted and frozen solid after yesterday's warm temps. Portions of the ungroomed yellow trail actually offered some decent crust skiing yet today, but there were patches of glare ice, a few bare spots, and any big downhills were skis off and walking for safety. The trails were only skiable yet due to the amazing grooming job this season. Thanks for all the work!

Conditions: I groomed the brown and red trails this morning. The brown has alot of icy spots, especially under the evergreens. The red is in fair or better condition once you get back about a 1/4 mile. I would suggest going to the back part of the red and do laps back and forth. I did not do anything on the yellow loop.
Very icy near the building and trailhead. Go to the back part of the red for the best conditions.
