Good Morning Nordic Skiers, George C Jr Here with the grooming report. Trail was groomed Friday evening and is super firm this morning. Tracks are not set yet so don't worry about running them over. Skiing is in great condition. There is very little tree trash on the trail, and with the last snowfall staring to flatten out. Have fun out there. The lights are on at 4:45 so put some money in the donation box and the friends of schlock lake will do the rest. Enjoy Winter.

Evening
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The main (lighted) trail system is very hilly. This was my first time out for the season freestyle. Still no tracks set. I have seen much better condtions on this skate deck than were present today. It took me a little bit to get my skate legs going. That was hindered by the uneven skate deck. It was still good to get out, even thought the temperature was below zero and it took about 20 minutes for my hands to finally warm up. Sorry, no pictures -- my hands were too cold.
