Grooming
[ Trails: Closed, Good skis ]
Sorry to say, but we are not grooming the ski trails any more this season. The snowmobile has a minor repair issue and its just too much work for the small number of days left for good skiing. Snowshoeing the trails is a good second choice. Looking forward to some good crust skiing after this snow develops a solid crust!

Very good conditions for classic, blue klister spiing. Its been 4 days since the last groom and a few of the trails were walked on over the weekend, so the skate lanes look a little rough. The classic tracks are very good and not as icy as might be expected. I am not sure about further grooming; I'll be gone this weekend so Monday will be the earliest next potential groom.

Excellent conditions on all of the loops, 17k total. Beautiful day, great skiing! The classic tracks are very good except where our local deer herd has trampled it. Skating is fabulous.

We got another 3" of snow so I groomed trails again this morning. Then I skied some trails after. It looks great but skis slow because the snow is soft and fluffy. Should be more firm and decent skiing tomorrow.

Uff Da! It is requiring extra time and work to groom this last 11" of snow - I packed trails this morning with the Sherpa (snowmobile), next steps are rolling and then grooming. I plan to have it done by Friday morning, 17k of classic and skate lanes. I am believe it will be excellent conditions. We have about 2' of snow on the ground so this could last quite awhile! No trail fee required but donations are appreciated.
