Very firm, bordering on icy. Lots of branches on trail that I threw off into the woods in the hopes that it will help the groomers. Someone walked a lot of the trail a few days ago and rutted it up. Unfortunately we missed the snow that would have smoothed it over.

Temps around 45 most of day and still above freezing this evening so trails were soft enough to be safe. Waxless skis worked fine in the tracks or anywhere. Kids had a great time on snowshoe trails with or without skis, too.

Nicely groomed and tracked. Skate lane is squeaky soft in sunny spots. 45 degree or higher. Faster in shade. Track was firm and should set up even better tonight. Waxless skis worked fine.

Groomed and tracked all loops this morning. Trail condition is excellent. Warm temps this afternoon. We can expect some icing. I'll try to scratch up the skate lane and set a new track later in the week.

Rolled the trail this morning. It was tough sledding so rather than getting the groomer out, figured we would let it set up a bit so we could track and groom it tomorrow if the weather cooperates. Trees are holding lots of snow, so maybe these gusts will help to knock it down before grooming it up.

More new snow. Skate lane is groomed with a new track on all the loops. Everything should be well set by tomorrow.

Groomed new snow. All of the trail is covered after two good snowfalls this week. The trail was firming up as I finished grooming. There were skiers out as I groomed. I made an extra pass and the track was firm and even though it had been skied it held up perfectly. The skate lane wwas setting up as well.

Six inches of new snow (or more) groomed and set up overnight nicely. Skate lane a little soft but so nice to have the ice covered! Classic track not set hard so easily damaged by little skiers even though they tried to be careful. Now more snow falling!

Groomed all of the trails tonight. Lots of fresh new snow. Also made an attempt to set the track. Looked like it should set up nice. Enjoy!

Groomed trail and set track. Most of the track is deep and firm. There are a few spots the groomer has pulled up a bit of dirt but most of the trail looks really good. And it is a beautiful sunny day.
