A fresh inch of snow provided some control, though the classic tracks weren't well defined due to the rain and melting we've had. Was a little tricky, especially where an outside ski edge wanted to slide sideways down a crusty mini-slope. Still, it was better than the treadmill for getting a little exercise.

Ten skiers floundered around on the ungroomed trail with 4 inches of wet sticky snow. Skate skiing was pretty awful except downhill in the track. Did all the loops and the snowball fight afterwards was great!

As groomer noted, skate lane a little rough but just fine and dandy for a bunch of busy boys switching between classic and skate skis and playing hide and seek on the snowshoe trails. Great time was had by all!

Combed skate lane and tracked all loops. Had some difficulty getting the snow smoothed out behind the groomer so the skate lane is a bit rough. The track is beautiful.

Just got off the groomer. The snow groomed up beautifully and it looked excellent. Should be great for a nice evening ski.

Many thanks to Jeff Love, who groomed and tracked the trails this morning. The track was solid and the skiing fun. Great to be back outside!
