Joanie and I classic skied all the trails early this morning - they had all been groomed and tracked either Friday night or before dawn on Saturday. The track set up well and was excellent. We only tried to skate the campground loops, but there was a hump in the trail right where you needed to skate, which made it difficult to enjoy. That is the reason for the fair rating for skating.

Wow, excellent skiing from Springers on Lake Kegonsa with some of the MadNorski crew. Good thin crust bonded to ice or snow well-bonded. Some parts of the lake solid ice without snow, but quite a few solid km of skiable "ground." Doubt that today's warm spell will preserve some of the best freestyle skiing all season, other than on person-made snow.
