By 12:30, the skate deck was really beginning to soften up in the sun and warm temps. The sunny spots were also really slow. More bare spots are developing, but the trail is for the most part still in pretty good shape. In the interest of preserving the base, it would probably be best for people to stay off it until temps drop below freezing again Thursday night.

About as good as it gets. The skate deck was firm and looked like it had been groomed this morning. Also skied connector to Blackhawk. Some organic debris and a few thin spots on the connector, but skied through carefully in my race skis with no issues. The connector was being groomed again at 2 pm when I left. Conditions at Blackhawk also excellent- firm deck with freshly tilled natural snow on top. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Freshly groomed this morning, corduroy skate deck and fresh tracks. The usual bare spots under the trees are present as well as more scattered along the classical tracks. A little soft in places especially the classical only loop which also had quite a bit of blown over snow at the beginning. Overall in very good shape.

No sign of any grooming after last night's dump as of 12:10 pm, just a few classic skiers out blazing tracks.

Nice skating conditions - you could probably use good skis without problems. Tim was also setting tracks for classic this morning and they looked pretty good too, only a little grass sticking out here and there under some trees.
