Trails had set up nicely overnight so they were pretty fast overall. Lots of deer making mischief. Skied most all of the trails. This is really a fun park. Would benefit from direction markers on the trails.

First time skiing these trails, and they are are new favorite. Fun loops through prairie and woods. There are not too many oaks so leaves were not much of a problem. Mostly the tracks were fast, but even though the trails were set earlier in the afternoon, the tracks had already in places been vigorously attacked by boots and deer.

The classical tracks are in good condition. The trails were groomed on Thursday afternoon, a few tracks are broken right around the building where large school groups walk. Great ski conditions.

All trails tracked this morning. The trails are in great shape. Except a few in the wind blown areas. Wonderful classic trails.

Great conditions for classic cross-country at River Bend's 7 miles of trail! Come ski them before melting/re-freeze happens. We rent skis! You do need a Great MN Ski Pass.

Surprised by the amount of snow here, think they had 8 or so inches. Old school single track classic only trails. Mostly flat to gentle hills and pretty good early season conditions. I used good skis with no problem. After a few hundred K at Elm I had to re-adjust to this type of skiing, a little different skill set. Fun skiing in a beautiful setting.

Beautiful trails, trails freshly groomed, skied almost all the trails. Bob and Glenn did a great job with the heavy wet snow.
