Looked like a groomer took a quick pass of the trails on the Expo side. While the snow is still pretty thin, mostly decent coverage. Going down the hill and on the other side was a bit messier; lots of pedestrian post holes, and debris plus deep ski tracks in spots that made me work to stay upright. No classic tracks set, and there are several paper thin spots throughout, especially on the big climb coming back to the expo side. Not the funnest ski I've ever done, but still glad to be out there on a cold day like this.

The east side of the park got a few passes from the groomer today, in addition to the grooming passes yesterday. I don't know about the west side. About 1.5 K of the east side has been groomed for skating, and it's not bad considering we've had all of 3" of snow. Some bare spots, lots of foot and dog prints. The snow is firm but not hard. I'd give it a 5/10 on a hardness scale. Note: the fat bike trails have been groomed and are in very good condition.

Surprisingly decent for skating. Decent coverage, a bit soft here and there. Excellent grooming given the small amount of snow. Very cold, but at least the snow isn't going anywhere.

It's not the prettiest, but there's enough snow down to groom and beggars can't be choosers. Trail was a bit bumpy in sections, due to not enough snow down to fill it in and even it out, but considering that, groomers did a great job with what we have, so many thanks to them! Several thin spots throughout; debris and sticks around but not terrible; pedestrians without snowshoes walking down the middle of ski trails and leaving post holes. Snow was soft and slow. I would recommend B skis, but again, we'll take what we can get around here. No classic tracks set since the snow is soft and thin, but I saw quite a few classic skiers out anyway. Still a fun ski overall.
