Trail Reports

2016-2017 season
Reports 1 to 3 of 3    Month: Jan

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Partial, B skis ]
The old service road and part of the Pine Knob loops are in great shape. There is a double track on the road that is pretty icy, but will kick with klister or fish scales. You could get away with good skis, but I'd stick to B skis. All of the other trails are very icy and will make you pucker up on any downhill. Don't explore too far until we get new snow, the downhills get very fast with hard icy corners.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We're thawing out a bit at Saint John's, but thanks to our steadfast groomer, our ski trails are still in good shape for Sunday's race. All races are still scheduled as planned. See our Langlauf website to get maps, race, and venue info. Be sure to register by midnight, Thursday, for our inaugural race this Sunday, Jan. 22.
