[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
The 10 inches of fresh snow that fell Friday night were rolled Saturday morning and tracks were set Easter Sunday morning. There are just a couple of very thin spots that are exposed to full sun. Otherwise all trails are in excellent condition. And this is not an April fools report.

HASTA trails received 7 more inches of the wonderful white stuff last night. The trails were rolled and packed in the morning and tracks set in the afternoon. The tracks were already firming up with the cooler temperatures. I recommend getting out early tomorrow to ski before it gets to warm out.

HASTA trails received 6 inches of new snow. The trails were groomed and tracked today. I did not groom the Hilly Loop. The temps are just at freezing, so the tracks are soft. Good luck to those doing the Birkie!

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Went for an evening classic ski on the Hospital Trails. Skied about 80% of the trails. All the trails I skied except the Hilly Loop had been freshly tracked, although the tracks were still soft. Overall, I'd say the trails were in excellent condition and will get even better after the tracks set up. FYI, the Hayward area got 3-6" new snow on Monday.

Renovated and set track on entire trail system. Base is thin and parts of trail have oak leaves and pine cones mixed in tracks. Tracks are fair in places and good in others depending on snow depth.

Firsthand: Classic

Pretty rough conditions throughout -- degraded track and icy. Some spots held up well, though, with enough fresh snow on top of the icy base to make for good skiing (maybe 25-30% overall).

Groomed and tracked entire classic-only trail this morning after yesterday's snowfall. Still a few oak leaves because of the heavy winds. Trail should set up nicely by late afternoon.
