Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Had a couple inches of powder settling on the trail for a few days. Took the roller, screen and drag to it today and will set tracks for the weekend. With the base we have now, and warmer days coming, the spring skiing should be outstanding!

Rolled 8 inches of new, dry snow Wednesday night. Grooming plan: Will be combing and setting tracks Friday. Will be great skiing for the weekend. If you are skiing the Birkie, have a great one!

All trails were groomed recently but yesterday afternoon's snow squalls left about 2 inches of fresh powder on top. Skating was a little slow with the fresh powder and cold temps. Classic tracks were drifted over in many spots. Still great to get out.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We had 8+ inches of new, dry, powder that had piled up. Rolled it, let it sit overnight, and pulled the drag around and set tracks on most of it. Should be great for the weekend and heading into Birkie week. As previously noted, one of our two volunteer supplied grooming snowmobiles (a 1990's circa Yamaha VK540) is non-operational, so it takes a little longer to get fresh snow worked over.

5:00 PM. Sounds like the grooming equipment is down with mechanical issues so the trails had not been groomed as of late afternoon Monday. With the current snowstorm the trails won't be skate-able very easily so classical skis are recommended but be prepared for 6-8" of un-groomed snow. Was still fun to get out and the dogs agreed.
