Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Snowy patterns have returned to the Central Rockies. 14" in the last four days have improved conditions on all trails from very good to excellent. Cord, tracks, blue skies and awesome skiing to be had on over 65K of trails. Challenge yourself with skiing to almost 11K'! It does not get better than the West!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ B skis ]
When we arrived it didn't look good but we walked to where we were told the good snow started and it was fine from there. There are some thin spots and some bare spots but they were easily avoided. It reminded me of many days skiing in the Twin cities, definitely worth the trip to get on snow.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skied the upper trails (blue ridge loop, eagle valley, cranmer) and all of these were in pristine condition. Classic track set all the way up and plenty of corduroy for the skaters. Trails near Nordic center are windblown and have a thin cover. 500 feet higher and snow is deep. Temps near freezing but blue extra seemed to be the right kick wax.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Early season conditions just keep getting better. Part of the crew groomed Zone C once again this morning. 5-8K of southern Zone A was also groomed to have access from the Nordic Center to Zone C. There is full coverage in Zone C, but we still recommend rock or B skis. We now have close to 20K groomed with some track set. Happy Thanksgiving and enJoy!

Another of 4" plus allowed to comb out about 5K of trail. The forecast is for a colder and snow shower pattern over the next three days. Then colder and sunny. Temps are starting to be consistently colder....hoping. Good early season stride and DP skiing this morning.

Grooming
[ Trails: Closed, Rock skis ]
Two days of early Fall snow have left our trails white. We are all mowed and all our equipment is serviced and staged for the upcoming season. We are not grooming, but we are all ready! The trails were great for two days of early season back country shuffling. Should be less than 4 weeks till snow holds. Think cold!
