Night
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Four of us were night skiing on the lighted trail. Conditions were wonderful, and there was nobody out. I do not know what percentage of trails are open, but I would expect they all are. Conditions were that good.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Great ski conditions right now. Skied the Black Forest Loop, and only found one small spot that needed to be avoided. A comfortable 27 degrees, made the ski very enjoyable. Looks like all loops have been groomed. Several cars in the parking lot, but never saw anyone out on the trails. Get out and enjoy.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Sunny and 14 degrees on the first day of winter. Today was the first day the groomer was out for the season. Some of the trail system has been packed and a shallow track has been set. Rock skis recommended since there is a lot of exposed ground. Sourthern lights loop was not groomed but now has been user tracked. Another good snowfall and we should be in good shape.
